Online Storage

As our technology is getting better and better more people are starting to save their data in the 'Cloud', as many  new services like Dropbox, Box.net, SugarSync and SkyDrive are starting to gain in popularity, it is now very easy to save things in the Cloud.


Dropbox
I highly recommend Dropbox, it is so easy to use. All you have to do is sign up for an account and they give you 2GB of space, then if you do a few other tasks that they list for you, like liking them on Facebook, downloading the windows application, they give you an extra .5GB, then after that for every new person that signs up with your referral link you get 250MB of space (or 500MB if your a student), you can get up to 16GB of space without even paying a penny! Once you have downloaded Dropbox onto your PC, Mac, or even Linux computer you get an extra folder, it acts like any normal folder, but if you put files into it, they are automatically synchronised to the cloud, and every other device you have that has Dropbox! Its like a memory stick but costs nothing and easier! I use Dropbox everyday and keep my music on it, check it out!

Box.net
I have only recently got Box.net because of an offer I heard, they are giving away 50GB of space, rather than the normal 5GB to a free user if they sign in to their Box.net account on a iPhone, iPod or an iPad! It is a good place to store large files, but works differently to Dropbox, they make you pay to have this feature. Instead you have to use their web app to upload, download files. A little less convenient but still great for 50GB of space!

SugarSync
I have never used SugarSync before, but for what I have read you get 5GB of space, and is run like Dropbox. But less professionally and is more complicated to use than Dropbox. If you use SugarSync, please tell me how you find it in the comments.
