2012 has finally ended, and 2013 is here. So I thought I would make a list of some of my favourite Websites and iPhone Apps from last year!
Apps
Tweetbot - The best App for Twitter
Alien Blue - My favourite way to read Reddit
Pulse - If you want to read the news, you should use Pulse
Flipboard - Or Flipboard if you want a more elegant way
Evernote - With the new update, this app is unbeatable. Take note.
Dropbox - It's a necessity if you want files saved online
Google Maps - Apple Maps is terrible, this is a must if you want to get somewhere on time
Gmail - Better than the built in Mail.app, push notifications are great!
Foursquare - Easiest way to find your friends
Skype - Doesn't really need an introduction, if you want to use VoIP on your iPhone, you need it
HUKD - HotUKDeals, brilliant for finding cheap offers and giveaways
Pocket - (AKA Read It Later), the best way to save articles for later, and it's free!
Djay - If you are a DJ you will have this, if you want to pretend your a DJ you need this
IMDb - Who's that actor? What other movies was he in? IMDb will tell you
FlightBoard - Great if you fly often, shows all outbound/inbound flight times and more
Spotify - Yes, the Music.app has been improved, but Spotify is definitely worth paying £10 a month for.
Chrome - It's a bit slow, but overall it's better than Safari
Instagram - Gone a bit downhill since Facebook bought them, but still a fun way to share photos
Websites
HackForums.net - Good for finding out anything to do with hacking/computing
Reddit.com - The Front Page of the Internet, brilliant community for anything
Twitter.com - If you haven't signed up yet, you need to! (Then follow @7ewis!)
Fiverr.com - Made about $20 so far, good if you have a lot of time on your hands, but don't quit the day job!
Klout.com - Nice way of seeing your social influence, but not too accurate
WolframAlpha.com - This site really is amazing, it knows EVERYTHING!
